Chicken Tikka….used in countless take-aways across the land
Best on the BBQ but also good from the oven and only takes around 25 mins to cook.
Most take-away restaurants make a shed load of this chicken and also gallons of the base curry from a previous post. This helps them churn out meals with lightning speed when you phone them and want a delivery in the next 45 mins.
So, get organised and pro up in a curry fashion – make a load and freeze it.
you will need:
4-6 Chicken breast cut into chunks
1 tbsp tomato puree
1 tbsp garlic and ginger paste
1/2 tsp chilli powder
1/2 tsp turmeric
1 tbsp Lemon juice
Mix everything together and marinade in the fridge for 4 hrs or longer.
When ready to cook place chicken on baking tray and then in oven (c.180 DC) for 20-25 mins until chicken is tender.
Use in curry or freeze for future use .
