Nam Pla – Thai prawn Beer snack

This is great to eat with ice cold beer, Chang being the beer of choice if you’re doing it properly. Whatever it is you’re drinking needs to be cold, beer like and plentiful.

You will need:

1-2 bags of defrosted pre cooked Tiger/King/Large Ass prawns

Dipping Sauce

6 tsp fresh lime juice
6 tsp fish sauce
1 tsp sugar or less
1 clove garlic, peeled, crushed and chopped
2 teaspoons very finely chopped coriander leaves
2 bird’s eye chilli or more, V.finely chopped

If you have fresh ginger and/or lemon grass peel or bash up and throw in the sauce for extra flavor.

Mix all the above together and pour into a suitable dipping bowl, small glass tumbler/other.

Dip prawn in sauce, eat, drink beer. Repeat.
